Johnny Marr has confirmed plans for a headline UK tour, to coincide with new album 'The Messenger'. One of the most significant guitarists Britain has ever produced, Johnny Marr recently revealed plans for release his first ever solo album. 'The Messenger' is set to drop on February 25th, and follows extensive sessions from the musician. Recently parting company with The Cribs, Johnny Marr is now itching to get back out on the road. The guitarist has lined up a number of live shows, representing the first solo tour of his career. Opening in Oxford on March 10th, the dates continue with shows in Norwich, Cambridge, Brighton and more. Hitting London on March 15th, Johnny Marr will then play shows in Birmingham, Sheffield, Glasgow and Liverpool. Ending in Manchester on March 22nd, tickets go on sale from 9am this Friday (December 7th).
